Very saddened to discover quite by chance of Lamont's passing. I was in his brother John's class a couple of years in front of Lamont, but how could anyone (even another teenager!) not take to his quick-wit, wry humour, and the fact that he was simply an upright, well-rounded character. We spoke many times when we were both at Glasgow Uni, and it was easy to tell he was going to be such a success as a lawyer. My sincere condolences to his family over this untimely loss.
