I had a divorce case with Lamont many years ago where the clients where being obstinate. We had several court hearings and meetings and each day Lamont insisted on adjourning to a local restaurant for lunch. He always ended with that famous cigar and the conversation was always interesting, humorous and indeed educational as he was a wealth of wisdom. He helped the case reach a satisfactory conclusion with his careful and understanding attitude towards both clients. He was one of life's beautiful people and will be very sorely missed.
