Lamont was a friend for nearly 50 years and our lawyer for 40. We have many happy memories of climbing hills together in all weathers. Of course we enjoyed lots of meals both in restaurants and at home ; needless to say accompanied by a few glasses of red wine. His reading at our daughter Gail’s wedding was chosen by him a with lots of thought. He nearly missed the service as he hadn’t bargained for heavy traffic en route from Carmichael to Greenock!!! On one occasion he hid Easter eggs for our grandkids all around the restaurant where we were having lunch. I’m not too sure if the other diners were quite as impressed as the children. A skiing holiday in La Rosiere was lots of fun. He has been in and out of our lives for so long we really can’t quite believe he won’t be there anymore. Diana , Kenny and family.
